Every time I have been here I have been pleasantly surprised. The produce is gorgeous, the bakery and deli section are well-stocked and look fantastic. The store is always clean, neat and well organized. I have found any random item I've needed from molasses, a pencil sharpener, to holiday napkins for a school party. The meat selection is also very good and fresh.
What sets this store apart from other grocery stores is the staff. I have been engaged in random conversations by multiple staff members and in a comfortable manner. I've seen staff assisting other customers, even the teenagers look friendly and smile while they work.
I also absolutely love their salad bar. I love salads and have the best intentions when I want to make them. But by the time I've gathered, washed and chopped my produce it has been time-consuming and quite expensive. They have a very fresh salad/soup and olive bar so you can make it at the station and avoid tossing away limp bags of spinach and lettuce.
The only con I have is that you need to have a Pig card to get the sale price on items. Sale prices are very competitive, but some of the items are a tad more expensive regular price. However, my grocery bill there is not much more than a trip to Woodman's and it's a more relaxed atmosphere.
And where else can you buy a tshirt with a curly pig tail on the back?
