Since I'm not a doctor I can't say whether or not the gastroenterologist himself was any good or not. I'll know more after I see another gastroenterologist. However, I can tell you the staff has little or no concern for your well being. They've scheduled me for two procedures and never called back with the results, I've had to call them each time. Low and behold after asking them for the results a day or two later I get a call to inform me of my results, why? I don't know, since I already got the results when I had to call. The third and final exam took over a month just to schedule (mind you my doctor believed I may have internal bleeding); I finally had to call another gastroenterologist to schedule the test. Once they had the medical release form sent by the other gastroenterologist, I got a call from them to schedule my procedure (unbelievable). To top it all off, they sent me a discharge letter that stated "as you may need medical attention in the future, I suggest that you find another gastroenterologist to care for you" Hello! That's what I had to do to get medical attention. F.Y.I. A coworker of mine waited two weeks for her results before she also had to call. Do yourself a favor, avoid the frustration and find a gastroenterology office that cares about you.
