My gf and I got a deal on living social for the basic sewing class. Setting up the appointment was super easy and the instructor already showed to be very professional. She emailed us a couple of days before our class to confirm our reservations.
The class setting is very small and intimate which I think is great because it allows the instructor to better work with each individual one on one. She showed how to thread the sewing machine, different stitches and we even got a chance to practice before we got started in making our shirt.
The instructor is extremely knowledgable and was very patient in teaching the course. You literally do walk out after three hours with a wearable shirt.
The only down fall is that we did not get to cut our own fabric from the shirt pattern. I would of loved to learn that skill.
I would definitely recommend the basic sewing class to anyone.
