We love Gilcrease! Every year around this time we bring our kids to pick pumpkins, take pictures, ride on the hayride, eat donuts and drink their delicious apple cider. They have so much to choose from. You can get different types of apples, pears, pumpkins, cucumbers, tomatoes, kale and so much more. I have to admit we were a bit disappointed about them running out of apples so early in the fall. I dont blame them one bit. Their fruits are amazing. I appreciate that they have security. Makes me feel a bit more at ease. They are open at 7 am. If you get there early enough you will be sure to see a beautiful sunrise. Bring your wagon if you have one. It helps tremendously. If you have not visited this beautiful orchard in this southern Nevadan desert, do yourself a favor and come by.
