I have zero complaints about the facility itself...plenty of equipment, options, and a really great set up. However, the staff was incredibly pushy and definitely need to re-evaluate their sales tactics. I was taken in to a room and held for a 45 minute conversation before I even got the chance to work out as I went in for the first day of my 7 day free trial. Not only that but they said they had to hold on to my ID while I worked out without giving a reason, making me have to go back in to that office once I was finished and be talked to about memberships again for another 45 minutes (no exaggeration). I had a legitimate objection as to why I wanted to hold off on making the decision and continue through my free trial which makes their forceful demeanor even more unnecessary. The sad part is I would've been motivated to become a member based on the facility alone and the prices spoke for themselves, but after feeling so uncomfortable and like I was basically not allowed to leave without signing up I am completely turned off and will be cancelling. Attention LA Fitness corporate!
