I have only just ordered and sat down and already I am giving this lovely cafe five stars.
The first thing to hit you as you walk through the door is the wondrous smell of their many baked goods: sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Tiny tarts, squares, loafs, and pies among others all, as the name would imply, perfectly imperfect, giving them a very genuine home made feel.
This tiny cafe has only three cosy tables, nestled in the window, making it perfect for a quiet afternoon of reading, work, or people watching. The staff was friendly and brought me my coffee and chocolate mint Nanaimo bar. OH MY GOD! CHOCOLATE. MINT. NANAIMO. BAR!
This is possibly amongst the best things I have ever put in my mouth... And the coffee, one of the smoothest and creamiest I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy!
All in all this bakery, although out of my usual neck of the woods is well worth the trip, and will definitely be worth a return trip... Or ten.
