suckered in by exhaustion from toiling the mines all week, taken with the twinkle of a groupon, which was actually a fool and a wink, we did the dirty deed and ordered online two pastie dishes and a side of cauliflower gratin, scheduled pick up for a hour later....
what we unpacked...was a sad sad poor excuse of spending money out, for food that is worse than, than....well better than jail, but on par with a hospital cafeteria.
alfredo sauce was an oily pooled mess in the container, instructions to "pack chicken separate" arrived in the container with the side of pesto sauce. oh, the cauliflower -- great idea, terribly executed. cauliflower was not even cooked one bit, gratin crust was also oily and cheese had separated.
hopes have been dashed --- and here i sit with an extra groupon taunting me, with glee.
