The hotel room was pretty smelly, the shower was slippery, tiny, and falling apart, the tv barely worked and the beds were musty and rough. I've always stay in in low end hotels just to save money but I actually felt gross after this one. Not only that, I had to cancel my plans early, 3 days early, because the hotel was too far away from where I wanted to be and they barely wanted to give me a refund. They said the best they can do is give me one day refund. I had returned the key and told them i was not staying the 3 nights. The front desk lady told me to call the manager the next day. So I did. First he accused me of staying the week and actually sleeping in the room and then not wanting to pay for it. He went on and I was trying to interrupt to tell him he has me confused with someone else. I told him my name and he realized I was a different person but didn't apologize just asked me what I wanted. He then told me there's nothing he can do its Hotels.com's policy which is funny because on the website it says thats the policy of the hotel itself. I finally gave in and said "ok,ok." and he then said "ok bye" and hung up abruptly! I didn't even get a chance to know if I was going to even get any kind of refund. I just checked my bank account, its been 5 days and there's nothing in there. How do I file a complain? I probably have to call them again. They probably are going to tell me I did stay there the rest of the days! Unbelievable, I'm out of $200 just like that. I'm just here trying to get settled so I can go to school, I didnt need to get taken like this.
