follow up - Maintenance dept was really great about coming out the next day to fix the leaky drain. They even put new lamps into the master bath AND installed a new thermostat. Sadly, two days later the bath lights don't work in the morning - but do work after lunch. I'll just buy a lamp to go on the counter. It's currently 88F outside and the coolest we can get the inside is 77F, and that's with the thermostat set to 68F so that it runs continuous. Our electric bill is going to be a little higher than normal. I'm going out tomorrow to look for window air conditioners. I think maybe apt's can be lemons just like cars, who knew?
