This review is very delinquent...we had been burned by a local mover in the Chicago area and then had a bad experience with one of the national companies--So I am always on the defensive when working with moving companies. We used General Purpose movers 3x (a move from one home in Middleton to another, a move out of that home into a moving truck and storage units, and finally from those storage units down to Texas--Summer of 2015). Each time Ben was incredibly professional, communicated frequently with us, and did a great job. We had a couple of small items that were damaged along the way and he handled it in a reasonable way.
I would highly suggest using these them for any local move in the Madison area or even out of state if they can make that work.
