Went for a pedi and full set with white tip. I was the only one there so it wasnt busy. Was hoping and expecting a nice relaxing pampering time but was in and out within a little over an hour. The pedi was great but while I was getting that, I had another lady that came over and started on my nails. I assumed that she was prepping my nails then next thing I knew, she was actually working on it. It was quite uncomfortable because I had to hold my arm and hands out to her to work on them vs being seated so I could have rested my arm and hands on a table. Though she did a decent job, I was not happy because I have very long nail bed which I love but she had put the tip half way up my nail bed so it looked weird like I had short elf nails. Checked out and didnt realized til later that she actually overcharged me $5. I called them the next day to tell them and was told by the manager that I must of misunderstood them and they didnt do anything wrong and they'd charged right. I was told pedi was $20 and white tip set was $31. He said the pedi was $25 because I had "art" glitter on. I said I just had her use a different polish that was glitter for the 2nd coat and partial from the top, nothing fancy--no art with one toe painted only glitter (party toe). He said because I didnt have her paint my whole nail with the glitter and did half like that, it was considered nail art and french tip. I told him it wasnt french tip design. I stated that because I asked her to paint it half way using LESS polish, they charged me $5 and he said yes because it's nail art since she had to do more work. LOL SERIOUSLY?! It wasnt the pedi lady's fault as she was great and at the end during checkout when asked how much pedi was, she said it was $20 again but it was the lady that did my nails that checked me out that added the extra $5 onto my bill. Probably because I kept declining all her "upgrades" of getting glitter, etc so she had to find a way to get more $ from me somehow. Ridiculous. What a joke. I told him that that's very misleading and I should have been told that it would have been $5 more if I wanted less polish on me because it's considered "nail art". He said it was not their fault and that's their policy. I mentioned that I wont be returning or giving them my business and he said that's fine and I said I will be doing a review on my experience because it's not about the $5 as it is about misleading the customer and charging them without being told and he could care less. Would NOT recommend them or be returning.
