My first impression of this place was awesome. Jen in the front was so nice and assured me that my son would be in good hands. After looking at other day cares, I was convinced that this was the place for him. My son hated it. I figured he'd get over it. As time passed, it got worse. Finally one day I was drying his body because I had just bathed him and he told me 2 boys in his school was touching his private parts. I asked him and he told the teacher and he said yes and the boys got in trouble and we're told they couldn't play outside.
I was FURIOUS. Mainly because I think it was the responsibility of the teachers to come and tell me they had a problem but no, I was never told anything. The following day, I went to speak to the director. I was in and out of her office in 3 minutes. I told her what my son had told me and her response was "thanks for telling me, I'll look at the cameras" no sympathy whatsoever. She didn't ask when or where it happened. Didn't ask what teacher was told or even what boys did it.
Its been abour 3 weeks now and I have yet to hear from the director. I put my son in a new school and came across one of the teachers that once worked for kids garden. As I told her what happened, she told me that the boy who was touching my son had been caught touching himself during nap times and the director and the boys Mother were aware.
My son learned a lot from this school. But their policy and procedures do not protect our children.
