My husband and I had a day off and on a whim stopped at Trax Farm. We have just moved back to this state after being gone for many years and neither of us had been here in about 20 years. My goodness what happened to it? This is no longer the family farm it used to be! When did it go so ... so ... corporate? The prices are just the same as if I were to shop at Giant Eagle's Market District! I was excited because coming back home from a deep southern state we have been searching for a true farmers market, not these things the county has set up in parking lots where commercial growers come to hock their wares. We were looking for home grown, organic, and natural produce and this was not the place to find them. I was just so disappointed in how sad it has become from the cute family farm to Disney World like atmosphere.
