the customer service is absolutely ridiculous. i was there tonight buying a hefty amount of things for the weekend and i waited in line for 15 minutes behind an a phillipino lady who had been cut in front of by THREE other persians.
now i am persian, and understand just fine, despite looking pretty canadian which can be misleading for some people. the lady behind the counter actually said at one point 'give me a second and i'll help you before the almond eyed one.' now that term is persian is an incredibly racist term and i was shocked to hear it.
finally it was my turn, after i pointed 2 other people away from ordering before us - which the lady did not even interfere with and just complacently took their order until i interrupted and said others had been waiting in line.
finally, this old persian lady comes up and orders cheese in persian and i say actually i'm being served, and the lady behind the desk said 'oh why can't i just help this lady first' and the old woman in persian said it's just cheese what's the problem.
the problem is that there is severe favouritism and total disrespect for customers. good luck with your business if you keep treating customers that way. i walked away from a $150 purchase and i can guarantee that my friends and family will be boycotting this establishment.
