This Americas Best Value Inn has THE best price-to-location ratio on the strip. Your stay here won't be luxurious, but it will be acceptable AND a better value than anywhere else. If your plan is to relax in your room or to enjoy the hotel's amenities--this is NOT the place for you. If you require good service--this is NOT the place for you (the front desk folks are rude and slow). However, if you just need a room to sleep for a couple of hours and you would rather spend your money on entertainment while in Vegas--this IS the place for you. We stayed here this summer and it was the perfect layover on the way back home from the Grand Canyon. The onsite pool was a great place to swim for a couple of hours while we waited for the weather to cool enough to walk around outside. The rooms were worn but clean-enough, the A/C was loud but functioning, there was plenty of onsite parking, and...this dilapidated place was only a few minute's walk from the MGM. If the rooms were a little better insulated (from sound) or if the staff were less comatose versions of Daria (oh! nostalgia for the '90s), I would give this place a solid 3 stars. Regardless, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
