This is my go-to hotel when I'm staying in Pittsburgh. I've stayed here over two dozen times by now, and have never had an issue. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. All of the equipment in the exercise room works, the pool and hot tub are clean, and the staff gives each of you a cookie upon check-in. The staff, by the way, couldn't be nicer. This DoubleTree is definitely a great value for the money. And if you're a fan of horror movies, the Monroeville Mall, where George Romero's classic Dawn of the Dead was filmed, is right across the parking lot. Your room might even have a view of it - watch out for any zombies.
