We took our three kids to this trail to get out of the house and let them run around a little. It was mostly well maintained but despite ample pet clean up stations there was still a lot of dog poop in the grass. There are lots of trees, some perfect for climbing and plenty of birds to look at. There weren't too many people so the kids could run among the grass, trees and various plant life undeterred. (Except for dog poop). There is disc golf too.
My only other complaint is the the entrances and exits for the trail are mostly in gated communities. We entered through a strip mall but it wasn't easy to find. It ran along the shopping area the whole way so we could hear garbage trucks and busy parking lot traffic the whole time. Cute little area but I'm not sure it is worth the trip.
