Ash Wednesday Mass SHOULD NOT take an hour and 25 minutes. After an hour, communion still had not been served. They do this so people do not leave. Well, several left BEFORE communion. Very Sad. Ashes are not given until the very end of mass for this very reason. To not give those that truly need to leave a opportunity to do so. Maybe if the mass was not so controlled and so long we would not want to leave. I came to the realization that if I am so upset and agitated at the masses, I should not be attending at this church. It's definitely my problem. Blessed Sacrament is not for everyone and tonight I realized its not for me. I wish everyone well there and will be looking for another Parish to attend.
