2 stars! Dr. Augenstein was really good, so she gets the stars. This was my first time and last! I was really hoping this was going to be our new Vet office. After spending today $160.56 (not including the $55.00 exam fee) here at VCA, on extremely over priced meds I won't be back. I have a French bulldog that is 11-1/2. He's had to have dozens of allergy shots in his 11yrs not to mention all other meds and expensive prescription dog food. So I am extremely aware of what average prices on his meds. The most I've ever paid for this shot was 30.00. VCA charged me $52.80, antibiotics (simplicef 100mg 14)for a 30lb dog cost me $51.52, medicated shampoo (skingaurd 8oz) 31.39, and skingaurd ear solution 8oz $24.85. I looked at my past receipts and how much this Truly costs. Like I said, "First time and last!" I hope to find a Vet office that wants to keep customers coming back. What a huge disappointment because I liked the Dr.
