My computer overheated one day and just completely died. I was devastated and pissed cause it was the first week of my 3rd semester. I brought my laptop to PC Mechanix and they said they could have a look and it would maybe be a few days only. I got a call a few days later and they said the motherboard was fried and needed to be replaced which I fully agreed to although they recommended getting a new laptop since it was an older model and might be cheaper than the repair itself. But I love my laptop so I decided to repair it. A few days later I got a call asking where my laptop was from cause shit I 100% forgot to mention it was bought in Sweden. They realized that's why they obv couldnt find the right part and ordered the correct part FROM Europe without any additional charge. The delivery took awhile but once they had it the repair was done within 24 hrs. In short, the nicest, most affordable and accommodating service I've ever received! The fact that I forgot to tell them a crucial part of the laptops anatomy didn't bother them one bit and they were quick to find MY preferred solution although they recommended otherwise.
