If you need a cab to pick you up anywhere off the strip or away from hotels and casinos, don't call Lucky Cab. They don't want to come. I called on a Sunday afternoon to pick me up on West Charleston to head to the Fairfield Marriot. Not a small fare. I called back after waiting an hour, and was told by the dispatcher that he hadn't taken the original call, so he didn't know what the status was. Fifteen minutes later, I received a call from a cab driver who had apparently taken pity that no one else had wanted to drive all the way out there without a fare. When he told me he'd been hearing the dispatcher call for someone to pick me up for an hour, he finally decided to come. I waited 90 minutes for this cab. I had tried to call another cab service but they didn't even answer their phone. I suppose that speaks volumes for all can service in Vegas, but I can only speak with true knowledge of Lucky Cab.
