I was not sure about updating my review but my experience at Lidia's was so much different then my last meals I felt the need to. Please note that I have only dined here for their Prix Fixe Brunch. I do not know when they raised their Brunch price but it is now $32.00 per person. The menu is still the same and the staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the pork chop. The most noticeable change is their buffet table. It is 1/2 the size it used to be and the selections on the tables are few. It was very disappointing how they raised the price $4 per person and downsized their buffet. Most of the buffet table was occupied by two huge bowls of Cesar salad and then a small plate of luncheon meats with hardly any cheese, one small platter of eggplant, one terrine of soup, a hot plate of warm olives, and greens, two medium bowls of pasta salad. Off to the side was a very small table with 2 desserts and cookies. Now this may sound like a decent buffet but previously the table was twice the size with many, many more choices of food, and better choices. The dessert table had at least 5 desserts and cookies. All in all the food was OK, but I was saddened by the buffet experience. Costing $32 per person, there are much better places to dine.
