If you are going to stay at the SLS or maybe get there early for dinner I would check out monkey bar. It's pretty much SLS' lobby bar. The staff there are friendly but not over friendly. Wish they made more small talk while we were there. It wasn't busy, but maybe they just don't like to interact as much as myself or others.
Check out the monkey bar if you want a quick drink before dinner or just hanging around the hotel. The prices of cocktails were fairly priced. Happy about that. The margarita I had was really good. The bartender didn't know what kind of tequilas he had, and even the ones he named weren't good ones. I had to tell him the one on the shelf I wanted, it was more money too, maybe they don't upsell either?!
The espresso martini is really smooth too!
