Recently took the train from Montreal to Toronto. In my opinion it's more humane way of traveling as far as legroom, comfort, and service is concerned...average speed was 90 MPH. We stopped in Dorval, Cornwall, Kingston, Bellville, Oshawa, and arrived in Toronto. Each stop took about 10 minuets. We had a young lady with coffee and snacks cart coming around frequently. Also Via offers free wifi on its trains...so if you're traveling between Montreal and Toronto, and time is not of the essence, I would recommend giving the train a try.
