My husband and a couple of family members ended up at The Great Dane for Thanksgiving. We were on the waitlist and we were delighted to get in. We have gone to the Hildale location numerous times for the Thanksgiving buffet but we never had the chance to try the Fitchburg location. It was amazing! We got in quickly and our server was very friendly even though it was a holiday and the place was packed to the gills.
The buffet itself is large. Several tables with anything you could ask for to eat. The prime rib was especially delicious? and the pie was wonderful too. Our server kept returning to check on us and refill our drinks. I was impressed with how friendly and upbeat all of the staff was. It was kind of a madhouse? in there but everyone kept their cool and good attitudes. They had a good selection of holiday favorites as well as some unexpected things. There was a delightful salad bar and many sides to choose from. We will be back for another holiday buffet!
