We went to Bink's Midtown for Restaurant Week and in my opinion it has been one of the best choices yet. I strongly recommend the chicken pot pie croquettes for an appetizer and for dessert the Black Forest Cake. For the main course I had the pot roast. I'm not a big pot roast person, but the mashed potatoes were worth it. They people I came with got the hake and the short ribs which I think were better, but really nothing was a bad choice.
I also got the tableside rum punch, which I recommend everyone try. It was made tableside with fresh fruit juices and frozen nitrogen. It was pretty expensive but they way I saw it, I got a drink and a show. They also gave us free bread and this vanilla butter that I'm pretty sure had drugs in it. We wanted to eat it by the spoonful. They could have given us cardboard with the butter instead of the bread and it still would have been amazing.
Even better than the food was the service. Our waitress Kendall was one of the nicest we've ever had. Another staff, John, prepared my drink and chatted with us. I'm not sure what his position was but he was really nice and helped us choose our dishes. Nice restaurants normally have great staff but these two were outstanding! We will definitely be returning, the regular menu looked fantastic and I really love the atmosphere!
