If there's anything better than sliced lemon ice cream on a hot summer day, then I don't know what it is. Cabarrus Creamery is a fantastic local ice cream shop in an adorable setting in downtown Concord. All the ice cream is homemade and they don't skimp on the portions. It's great for kids. You can eat inside if you wish, but I prefer sitting on the benches outside and watching the pedestrians walk by. The service is friendly and professional. This is my go-to spot for a tasty, cold treat.
