I'm done with this company. I buy a case of wine every couple of weeks and after yesterday's miserable experience, I will be shopping somewhere else from now on. First, their website sucks. Even after an "upgrade" it still takes forever to load, constantly times out and you have to press the submit button multiple times (at the risk of being charged multiple times) to get your order in. Whenever I am ordering my wine I spend time researching the scores and ratings. I ALWAYS uncheck the box that will allow vintage substitutions. I know that a wine that is fantastic one year could be vinegar the next. I can guarantee that when I get to the store at least one of the wines will be of the incorrect vintage. Yesterday six of the twelve bottles was the wrong vintage! 50% failure rate! This happens every single time. They have every excuse under the sun - website inventory was wrong, the picker wasn't paying attention, thought you wouldn't mind, etc, etc. So as I find the 6 incorrect bottles and tell the large guy with the scruffy red beard, he starts to give me attitude! I will purposely drive across the valley to go to a different store than to ever give Total Wine any more of my business.
