I just moved to Pittsburgh and was looking for a good place to get my hair done. I have been getting my highlights done for 16 years at mario tricocci and ladies and gentleman salons. I will start off by saying that Dayle did an excellent job with my color, but was absolutely shocked with my bill. I was charged 180 dollars for one color highlights, mind you my hair was just done in June. Just to put this in perspective, I pay 85 dollars at Ladies and Gentleman, which is also a well known Aveda salon (same service, time, hair length, and stylist experience). Overall I would say good stylist but outrageous bill. I walked out feeling completely ripped off. I spoke to the manager who couldnt provide any clarification at all. Bottom line not worth the flagrant prices! $250 for a haircut and highlights. They charged extra for "extra bowls of color". In all fairness Dayle the stylist was nice and professional. What a shame that their customer service is so poor. I was really looking forward to liking this place, especially after the reviews I read. Unfortunately, I will have to look elsewhere.
