West Side Market is the gem of the Ohio City neighborhood. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and wondered around tasting and viewing every variety of food. Cheeses, fresh bread and pasta, butchers, spices, macaroons, produce, West Side Market has it all. A friend recommended the falafel stand in the back left corner, so we split a spicy falafel sandwich ($5). Hot, packed with flavor and tahini straight from heaven. This sandwich is a must when at the market. Almost all vendor stands were filled making it lively and a fun environment. Cleveland has something special with this place, and I look forward to visiting next time I am back in town.
