This place is great! You have got to give it a try! I am a foodie - I love Cleveland, love cooking, and I love all the options this city has for people like me. Food Peddler is at the top if my list. It is so affordable - the prices compared to big box stores and even the west side market are phenomenal.
The food peddler is a combination of basics in name brands (a new addition), fresh fruits and vegetables and deli and bakery, and then a truly unique mix of Amish style treats. You can get canned goods, candies, dried fruits and snack mixes - there is something different every time! And if you bake, then you've got amazing supplies that you cannot find in your big name stores.
As for the employees, they are amazingly friendly! They are helpful and make shopping an old fashioned experience.
This place is unassuming from the outside and not nearly as busy as it deserves. Try this place, you'll love it! Then tell your friends so Cleveland can keep this unique gem in business!
