We live in North York and love to take Taunton Road/Steeles Avenue when going East instead of 401 as it's a more scenic route passing through the country road.
We always stop by Whittamore's whenever we pass, the fruits/vegetables are a little pricier than grocery stores but a lot fresher. We love their Popsicle too (all naturals flavours like strawberry-lemon, blueberry-citrus, raspberry-lime etc). They sell fresh apple cider as well.
Haven't been there for strawberry picking. Maybe this year.
