Alicia is one of the most authentic people I have ever met and she get stars for that alone.
Regardless of her awesomeness, she also gets five stars because she really knows how to do hair.
I have now been to queens shop four times. Once for a wedding updo second for a cut, third for a cut and color and fourth for a color. Candidly, there was a hiccup on one visit but that was primarily due to my poor communication as to what I wanted to achieve. Alicia intuitively knew that I was not happy and insisted that I returned so she could deliver the results that I had initially expected, however, not clearly communicated.
My advice is either go with a clear description of what you would like to achieve or be very open to what Alicia will recommend for your hair based on your face, coloring, maintenance schedule etc.
Queens shop is one of Toronto's best salons. Period
