Save your money. Don't be fooled by the beautiful new construction this place is a HELL HOLE. My apartment itself was nice however the construction was poor. I could smell my neighbors weed at all hours of the day. It was embarrassing bringing people over. The apartment is in a bad area. The premises are littered with trash. The dog park is dirty and no one knows how to pick up after their dogs. The garages they actually have available will be far from your apartment, so if this is a reason why you want to move here verify the location of your garage before signing anything. Otherwise, you'll be paying about $70 a month extra for a garage too far to use conveniently. I had my garage broken into and my bike stolen, when I told the office people they could not care less. You will have packages stolen by the sketchy people who roam the premises. The worst issue however was the people at the leasing office. With the exception of 1 girl, all the employees will treat you like trash and like your inconveniencing them even when simply stopping by for a package. I am not surprised, however, the alleged manager who is never around or available to return a call probably sets an example. I complained for various issues to the office and always asked for "Wendy" the manager to please call me back. She blatantly ignored me on MULTIPLE occasions. I even asked to speak to corporate because she is probably the worst manager I have ever encountered in my life. And of course, no one reached out to me. Obviously, these people only care about money. They lack the respect and care needed to run and manage a "luxury apartment" community. I wouldn't live here again even if they paid me! If you like being mistreated and insulted as a customer/resident, Southern Avenue Villas is the place for you!
