I love that the Local is actually my local. There is something about this place - it doesn't try hard, and it's just right. There are many trendy bars to check out at Ossington and Dundas. Don't get me wrong, I love them. But this place remains unpretentiously perfect.
If you're up for a few casual pints in the West end, this is the place to go. Most nights there is live music - local bands (bluegrass, folk, etc.). Great atmosphere and standard food/drink. As pubs go, this place is a really comfortable and enjoyable hang out for any night of the week.
