Sadly, I remember when Metro center still had all the anchor stores and was a busy mall with lots going for it, like the Vans skate shop and park. but sadly its nothing but a shadow of what it once was. Now it has earned its new alias of "Ghetro Center". Seriously all the little shops that are there now cater to nothing but the ghetto crowd. an air brush shop specializing in airbrushed t-shirts for the funeral car wash, a sharpie eye-brow kiosk, a barber shop and a nail salon (both really ghetto) about half a dozen shoe stores specializing in Nike, K-momo (need i say more), half a dozen baseball hat stores, AND A soon to come Wallmart supercenter where the old JC Penny used to be. Seriously what the F*** has this world come to? At least they still have most of the food court, Harkins, the pet adoption shop, Hot topic (which has also changed), Torrid, Bath and body works, the candy store, wetzel pretzel, cinnabon, and macy's. "its the mall white people go to when they want to feel what its like to walk through south phoenix at night." - anonymous.
