I lived at Savannah Apartment for the entirety 2012. During my residency there, I experienced #1, My water heater leaking, #2 maintenance breaking into my home while I was asleep, without any prior notice ( no phone call, nothing) claiming it was an emergency and so they had NO TIME to call. I work graveyard, but my phone is always on, and a call from the office would have taken 1 minute, but the secretaries were "at lunch" which is why (they said) I didn't receive any notice. WELL IF IT WAS AN EMERGENCY, WOULDN'T LUNCH COME SECOND TO THAT??? Also, upon my moving out, I had the carpet professionally cleaned, shampooed and steamed, and they STILL charged my husband and I a cleaning fee for the carpet. Additionally, the other existing moving charges, were turned over to collections, EVEN THOUGH the charges were paid by check. And they cashed the check for the full amount ($470.00). DO NOT LEASE AN APARTMENT WITH THESE PEOPLE. Crappy management, crappy customer service. Maintenance has complete access to your apartment, they will not give you notice, and will go into your unit WITHOUT your consent.
