We had a lovely stay at this hotel. First class all the way, from the valet who greeted us, to the young lady who checked us in, to the decor throughout the hotel. I especially loved the lobby. The location was perfect for us, right across the street from Union Station and within walking distance to the hockey arena. Close by attractions include Ripley's Aquarium, St. Lawrence Market, and Hockey Hall of Fame, plenty of great restaurants and shopping. It's a close subway ride to Chinatown and Kensington Market. Our room was a king corner room with great views. The high level floors have an express elevator and never once did we wait more than seconds for an elevator. Check out the health facilities - level H. The hotel has been refurbished and this area is very nice, we will take advantage of it next time. This hotel may not be for everyone, there are certainly more modern hotels, moderately priced too. But if you appreciate the finer things in life, if you're like me and like to imagine the grandeur of a regal lobby that greeted guests as they exited the Union Station across the street, then I think you will love staying here!
