I've owned firearms for self protection and as a hobby for 15 years. I've been to most gun stores in Vegas. The owner John and his staff take the time to explain everything you need to know about what you are purchasing. It seems like if you ask other stores a stupid question...they look at you like you're an idiot. (Everybody is a novice when starting something new) The staff at Spurlock's takes the time to actually teach people about what they are selling. They want people to learn about firearms and the safety...they are not there just to make a buck. If you need a gun, ammo, holster, or a cup of coffee...make sure Spurlock's is on the top of your list...It's definitely my go to gun store for all my needs.
