Joy of Dance has been the best dance studio that I've gone to so far and I've stuck with it for the past three years. I'm not exactly a professional dancer but I definitely enjoy it and I know that for each season, they hold a dance showcase where it features a multitude of dance varieties. I know that the studio may seem more focused on ballroom styles but it is indeed a place where all dance genres exist. From bollywood to broadway and then to nia, they have a huge variety of classes! I've taken hiphop/jazz and lyrical at the studio, with Allison and she is amazing! I love the atmosphere she has in her classes, relaxed but serious. I've also tried classes out with Richard too and he is extremely talented! The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Kim who also teaches classes for the younger kids. This studio is one of the best in Toronto and is quite an up and coming place to be. I'd say that if you haven't tried out any dance classes, this would be the place to go!
