We spend a lot of time and money in Fry's Electronics in the Los Angeles area. On our recent visit to Phoenix we decided to check out the Glendale, AZ store. Large store. As you probably know, each Fry's Electronics has its own theme. The Glendale store's theme is Mayan Indian. Against the back wall of the store is a mock up of an ancient Mayan village with life-sized figures in native costumes. They seem to be welcoming as they overlook heaps of computers, sound systems, and a huge inventory of blue-ray movies. Yes, village life has come a long way from building temples, constructing impressive water systems, and performing live sacrifices on holy days. We bought magazines. Fair amount of inventory. Good selections. Customer service. Easy to find help when needed. Restrooms are clean. Lots of parking.
