Great view, great food, and great service. Upon arriving, there is a $7 valet service, which was nice. And the view up on Mt. Washington is beautiful. Then we took the elevator ride up, with an open view. But there is only one small elevator, which is very slow. We were there to celebrate a graduation dinner, and we had a nice time. The food is very expensive, but delicious! The sides are large and serve 2-4 people. I highly recommend the lobster Mac n cheese and the Kanpavhi Seviche. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with Chimichurri and it was really good. It didn't wow me, but it was definitely very good. I took a bite of the Brandied Tagliatelle with chicken instead of the shrimp, which was fantastic. However, there was too much fatty pieces of chicken in the dish. Also, I don't usually like crab cakes but my boyfriend ordered it and it was actually delicious! I think I ate too much bread and butter before my dinner because the butter was some of the best butter I have had... it was sweet and flavorful. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner and I highly recommend Monterrey Bay for any special occasion. Afterwards, the valet was super nice and willingly took a few photos for us outside.
