The Body Bar Fitness and Spa has so, so much to offer you. Their services include a members only gym, as well as a public tanning, spa, and group exercise classes. I haven't partaken in everything (I'm not a gym member, and I don't tan...and neither should you! :-) ), but I have tried out their group exercise classes and massage services in the spa area. I bought a ten class pass for their group classes and went to several Zumba classes with various instructors. I was impressed that the room was very clean, had great mirrors so you could see the instructor from practically everywhere, and kicked my butt!
My favorite part of the Body Bar is by far their spa services. I've gotten quite a few massages from their therapists, and really haven't had one that I didn't like. The spa part of the business is in the back and feels like it is in an entirely different business. Dim lighting, soothing waterfalls, relaxing music, it has everything you'd expect as you wait for your therapist to arrive. They run very much on time, and never cut off a couple minutes to your massage. They always ask specific body parts that should be avoided (hands, feet, face, etc.) and ask what type of pressure you'd like. However, have no fear, if it's too hard or too soft, they encourage you to tell them so you get the massage you want. My only negative comment is that the therapists do tend to come and go, so if you find a favorite, it's hard to know how long they'll be working there, but honestly I haven't met one I haven't liked.
