We don't have a Smith's in Hawaii, so I was kinda curious about this grocery store.
It was well organized and quite clean. I found everything I needed - even sesame seed oil! However, my Las Vegas friend, Jean C., warned me that I may need to go to Chinatown for kalbi meat. She was right! I also didn't find fresh ginger... so, sorry, friends... I won't be making kalbi for dinner... haha!
Other cool things were the live plants (such as orchids and calla lilies), Fourth of July decorations, pairs of lobster tails for $4.99; and Hello Kitty items.
This is a convenient store that has pleasant service (I was asked if I had a rewards card. I don't, but the cashier scanned my purchase as if I did); plenty of free parking; and closes at midnight. We'll probably return!
