Other than Gold Spike, this is the only bar downtown that I enjoy. Everyone is super friendly, including security. One can imagine how impatient they become when dealing with drunk people months on end.
My friends wanted to try new cocktails, so the bartender suggested a couple of their signature drinks, I have no idea, as I don't drink. For me, she suggested ginger beer. Which I was exposed to years ago in Australia, so I was happy with that. The girls loved their cocktails, even explaining various flavors.
Both levels were playing hip-hop, however playing really good mixes. One DJ even mixed in fresh prince of Bel Air and had the audience singing along. I was shocked, as I was convinced the crowd was under 30. And way, we took off to continue our bar hop and find some EDM.
