These are my favourite consignment stores in Calgary for both shopping and consigning (there is now a second location in the Beltline).
The owner, Michelle, and her team are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to questions. As a shopper, I love the boutique feel of the Peacock stores - they are bright and spacious, impeccably organized, and there are showcases and outfit ideas set up around the stores. Items are priced very reasonably, and there are a number of 50% off days throughout the year in addition to seasonal clearances.
As a consignor, the process could not be simpler. I loathe having to make an appointment and wait while my items are inspected, which is why I love the Peacock system. Items can be dropped off any time, and I've never waited more than 1-2 business days for the ladies to go through my items and return the rejects to me. Only two items out of the 50+ I've consigned have failed to sell, which is why I count on Peacock season after season.
