Ever had slimy hash browns before? Neither had I, before my visit here. Definitely should've researched before I showed up at Matt's Big Breakfast because I've noticed I'm not the only one who wishes they had ordered home fries instead. It's odd to me that you can only get certain menu items on certain days, especially since the regular menu is really small. Service was just OK, but I'm usually impressed when I get better than terrible service at any restaurant or bar in Tempe. If I go back, I'll probably order waffles or pancakes as that seems to be Matt's specialty; I had eggs Benedict since it was Thursday and didn't find them to be special. Would be 2 stars but I bumped it up for the cool location.
