After reading all of the comments on Yelp, I'd have to say pretty much everything is true. We have the SAME roach problem, we have had about 5 in the house in the last couple months. I called the office to see if they could do something and she suggested to close the drains every day? - That's it. I see them EVERY night, they are everywhere. So gross. I read the feedback from the manager responding to these yelp reviews and they make it seem like it is so easy to get a hold of the office but it is NOT. They hardly answer and if they do, whatever you need doesn't get taken care of lol. I am 5 months pregnant and I had 4 work orders (3 I requested over the phone, 1 I went in and asked) in for someone to come unclog the shower because I kept slipping in the shower. Finally my AC started leaking so I had to call the emergency line and begged the man to fix the shower while he was there. Every time I go in there is different management, that is understandable, but didn't the last person leave a note somewhere? It seems like they are over worked and everyone is always blaming things on someone else. I have lived at Cabrillo for over 4 years now and I never had to wait like that for them to fix a problem. We don't even have a renovated apartment and our rent keeps going up, then add the roaches and poor management, it has really gone downhill.
Pros of Cabrillo - Our apartment is at the back and the view is beautiful. It's very quiet and we are very close with all our neighbors. They also just put in new plants around the property and it makes the property look very beautiful. The pool, office and gym are nice. They also have a 1/2 basketball court and a dog park. We do enjoy being here but for the price mixed in with bad management, we are excited to try something different when our lease is up.
