Minus a Star for Cockroaches. Minus a Star for being treated like a moron by maintenance because it takes all my body weight to open the sliding glass door. (He said my door was "the best in the complex") Minus a Star for having pre-stained carpet on move-in. Minus a Star for the 30 year old thermastats and for continuing to charge for water 6 months after I moved out. Minus a Star for showing up to the final walk-thru an hour late. I'm supposed to get the full deposit refunded but "the check is in the mail" still. Plus a Star for the complex manager and maintenance manager being very nice during the final walk-thru. Based on reviews I'd seen elsewhere, I was sure that I was going to lose my deposit despite how hard I worked to make the place move-in ready. Plus a Star for 3 pools that pools seem to be well maintained Minus a Star because 2 of 3 machines were always broken in the fitness centers. DVV calls themselves "Luxury Apartments" but do not be deceived. Every unit has cockroaches, some have bed bugs. The cabinets are so cheap that if you try to wipe them down to keep them clean, the overlay will peel off like a cheap sticker.
