I love this place. We drive pretty far to get here. The pound cake and quiche are also amazing. My only complaint is that their only coffee "flavoring" that I can taste is the brown sugar cinnamon. I've had cold coffee with coconut, cappuccinos and lattes with lots of other flavors, but it's a wasted trip. I don't order anything except the brown sugar because everything else tastes like plain coffee.
I just think it's weird that the other flavors are weak when you they have 10+, so I thought it was something they would be pushing, plus, you can even taste a single pump flavor at Starbucks, when you accidentally find yourself agreeing to go there.
I still love Central Coffee and it's my favorite coffee shop in Charlotte. I am willing to drive 25 minutes to go there. I don't do that for just anywhere. I can't recommend it enough.
